The health service in Chile
Today i will talk about the health service in Chile, answering the question "What do yo think of the health servce in our contry?".
Have fun!
When we talk about health here in Chile, we have to know that the medical services are different according to the type of health service. This is because in Chile we have public hospitals and private clinics.
The hospitals do not have such a good atention and service to people. It is always full because in a case of a emergency, a lot of people go to the hospital. Sadly, in chile, the public intitutions and services are not very good because of the lack of money.
On the other hand, we have clinics. They have a better attention but they are more expensive than hospitals.
Also, when we talk about health in Chile, we all know about "isapres" and "fonasa". The first one are private insurance carrier who give (if you buy it) health insurances and another benefits. Fonasa is a estatal service of health where, if you are affiliate, the service can cover a porcentage of the medical cost.
I think that te problem in Chile is the privatization of the rights like health or education. It is sad because we all need to continue in this type of vicious circle where the money is everything if you want to have a long life.
We deserve good quality and free health services!

ResponderEliminarHi. I totally agree with the idea that the problem is the privatization of the healthcare system, the same as education. This kind of service has to be at the service of the people and not being sold like a type of product that you can have if you have the money to afford it.
Thats for my part. Have a good weekend :)
I agree with you. Health is a right that must be guaranteed for everyone and not depend on our socioeconomic situation, that's why it is urgent to end privatization and the great inequalities in the quality of the service provided.

Hi elena! I agree with you. Health, education, a living place must be a guaranteed right! the privatization of this points only enlarges the inquality!
ResponderEliminarOne of the big problems if the great diferens between public and private system, the photo of Mafalda speak well abou it, the money it not all.
ResponderEliminarPd: I also use a picture of Mafalda (jiji) regards
I find you absolutely right. Health is a service that is privatized, despite the fact that it is a basic right that we should all have access to. It sucks that money is the limiting factor in caring for and saving our lives.
